Blog reading has become a late afternoon pastime of mine. When the store gets quiet and foot traffic begins to slow, its fun to read what others are blogging... current trends in fashion, what's cooking in the kitchen, what looks good in your home, where to go on vacation and what's selling in the stores.
As designers and retailers, staying apprised of what is going on in our world of furniture, accessories, lamps, art, rugs, etc. is a must.
Our blog specialists: Ellen, Laura, Casey, Sarah and sometimes Mark are very good about taking pictures of new arrivals and new room arrangements when we do a store makeover. But no one likes to write blog notes and for good reason...does anyone really read them or care to read about what we think?
That's what we want to know from you. Would you like us to write about current trends in decorating? Do you want to hear about how our industry...furniture and design, is ever changing and what we see as the next big thing when everyone gets tired of washed-out gray and weathered furniture? Would you care to know what you could do to spruce up your living room or how to arrange a room with the furniture you have. We want to hear from you. All of us at Traditions like to give an opinion. You don't have to listen, but at least you get another perspective. Write us if you think you would read us if we write.
